A name with meaning
The FABRIX company, characterised by its elongated final ‘X’, has its roots in the firm’s original business: lead-lined joinery.
This technical expertise, developed to provide protection against X-rays in the medical sector, has shaped the company’s identity.
Building on this tradition of precision and safety within a highly regulated environment, FABRIX has successfully expanded into the design, manufacture and installation
of bespoke aluminium joinery for private customers and the construction sector, maintaining the same high standards of rigour.
Over 50 years of history…
Founded in 1972 and based in Poitiers, near Futuroscope, FABRIX has established itself over the past fifty years as a leading player in the high-end aluminium joinery sector.
Under the leadership of Élisabeth Guillaumond, recognised for her exemplary career, and her son Paul-André, a passionate engineer, the family-run business shares a common vision :

Driven by a constant commitment to innovation and progress, FABRIX invests in its teams, its production facilities and its expertise. Its three areas of expertise enable it to offer solutions tailored to each sector and to maintain a close relationship with each of its clients.

With its 60 staff members, FABRIX has succeeded in creating a people-centred enterprise whilst building a robust organisational structure :

– site supervisors,
– fabricators,
– fitters.
This agile organisation, comprising experts, advisers, reception staff and administrative managers, enables rigorous monitoring of the entire value chain.

The gradual development of our production site
Guided by a commitment to responsible management, FABRIX continues to improve its workplace in Poitiers, at the République business park, close to the region’s road, rail and air transport links :
– Expansion of the Poitiers site every two years since 2007 – construction in 2012 of an additional 1,000 m² building: a total production and storage area of 3,500 m².
– A new building of over 2,900 m², located near the head office, will be dedicated to the production of aluminium joinery, divided into three sectors: residential, commercial and radiation protection, with easy access for sorting and recycling.
– Investment in a 410 m² premises in Massy-Palaiseau to be closer to its Parisian clientele and optimise its logistics flows in the Île-de-France region.
